Given 2009-06-09

The Passenger II by *IzNoGooD "is a deceptively simple-looking image that really captures the whole essence of a bus trip in one shot. The semi-claustrophic atmosphere, the are-we-there-yet tension, and even the way buses always feel a bit gritty, somehow, no matter how clean they are, is hinted at by the grain. I can almost smell that musty smell buses always seem to acquire by the time they've been in use more than three days. You could teach an entire photo seminar from this one image. Nice! This really captures the whole essence of a bus trip in one shot. Everything about it is right.

This is an extraordinary shot of an ordinary subject. It deserves to be a DD.

Well, it's not every day you get to ride on a bus with Tommy Lee Jones! LOL I don't know if I would ask for his autograph, but this is proof enough anyway! A great capture all around!
